Soultrack.

The soundtrack to my soul is the album Bon Iver, by Bon Iver. With the main theme song being "Perth" [still alive for you, love]. The way some music can captivate every sense and feeling in my body is astonishing. A life without music isn't living.

My Early Story.

My Early Story.

I'm all in doubt
perfect lies all in a line
a freckle, a frown
in the base of your heartbeat
lies the tempo of your soul
And it flies

Join me in the revealing
untie the rebel then flee
Sounds of the centered
we balance through light

Pause then run
Connecting the dots
all smiles and laughter
creating through dust

Its fire on fire
Burning through the cloud
Never reaching melody
Checking in while checking out

Up Up & Away.

I recently purchased one of those iPod player/charger/alarm clock things so now I can go to bed while listening to music and wake up to my feel-good-and-get-pumped-for-the-day-even-though-you-may-or-may-not-be-feelin-it songs.

Everyone wants to wake up on their own terms (both literally and metaphorically speaking), here are mine:

From the Roots.

Hold on tight tiny dreams
I won't forget about you
like others have so often
you're still mine
a creation from the roots

Nothings changed
why?
still in this position
and emptiness is holding
my future is no option
fleeting, beating, re-living
feeling
forever is beginning

make me open and real
i'll keep you, hold you
see you, need you

don't defeat like this
in any way
a steady beat
to reel in the laughter
fake and not to remake
but engage

Satellite Heart: my current favorite song

Its from the Twilight-New Moon soundtrack (which is amazing btw), sung by Anya Marina. She created this song specifically for the movie and what an awesome job she did! I learned it on the guitar a couple days ago, pretty simple to play, but not as easy to sing since it's pretty low. You have to find your belly voice for this one! Its more like you're breathing the words then singing them.

Anyways, hope you enjoy the song! =] Lyrics can be found here.

And yes, I am a major Twilight fan!
